5K a year Job Summary ECS Composites seeks a self-directed IT Support Technician with a passion for technology, collaboration, and creative problem-solving.
The right candidate will manage service desk projects and operations with little oversight.
The IT Support Technician will assist ECS staff with hardware, software, telephony, and proprietary systems.
The IT Support Technician is also responsible for managing the lifecycle of equipment, computer imaging, and the ticketing system.
ECS Composites is a leader in the composites and manufacturing industry, holds multiple patents, and operates multiple contracts with the United States Department of Defense.
Duties and Responsibilities As an IT Support Technician, you will provide quality day-to-day hands on and remote end user support with a high degree of customer satisfaction and technical expertise.
Troubleshoot end user hardware, software, applications, mobile devices, and peripherals.
Plan, implement, test, and document service desk related projects.
Regular work hours:
Monday through Thursday 6am to 4:
30pm.
Shift is flexible and remote work is available as needed.
Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.
Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.
Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures.
Configure VLANS on access switches, configure and deploy VoIP phones, configure, and deploy workstations.
Other duties as required.
Required Qualifications 2-5 years' experience in IT support or IT Service Desk High School Diploma or GED Experience with desktop support and service desk operations Interpersonal skills to facilitate productive working relationships Organization and time-management skills Experience with business and/or manufacturing information systems Discretion in handling sensitive information Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to provide several courses of action Communication skills to explain complicated information technology concepts to non-technical staff Ability to work and collaborate within a team Lift up to 40 pounds Preferred Skills Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a closely related field.
CompTIA A
or Net+.
Higher certifications accepted.
Microsoft 365 (Corporate/Government), Exchange 365, SharePoint 365, and Microsoft Teams.
Microsoft Windows 10 Professional/Enterprise.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
