Maintenance / Custodian - Boys and Girls Clubs of the Rogue Valley
Grants Pass, OR Grants Pass, OR Full-time Full-time From $15 an hour From $15 an hour Boys & Girls Clubs of the Rogue Valley Grants Pass Location, is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team.
Under the direction of the Director of Operations and Program Director the Maintenance / Custodian will provide a clean and safe program environment for youth ages 5-18.
Position Status:
Full-time position (40-hours); hours Monday - Friday Hourly:
$15.
00 Including Benefits GENERAL FUNCTION:
Under the direction of the Director of Operations and Program Director, the Maintenance/Custodian will provide a clean and safe program environment for youth ages 5-18.
BASIC DUTIES INCLUDE, but not limited to:
Maintaining and sanitizing restrooms Stripping and waxing tile floors Auto scrubbing floors Empty trash containers and recycling materials.
Cleaning and vacuuming carpets and floors.
Cleaning windows and dusting.
Minor repairs to furniture and facility General landscaping Environmental Conditions Office/recreation facility environment; work closely with others.
Must be able to work in a noisy environment for up to 8 hours.
Physical Conditions Frequent walking, cleaning, and standing for long periods of time.
The ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, stoop and crouch, reach for and handle items.
Requirements:
Must be 18 years old and be able to pass a pre-employment illicit drug screen, and background check.
Floor maintenance experience is preferred.
