Summary:
The Employee Relations Specialist handles the hiring selections and onboarding processes for Rever Grand's Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
This position collaborates with the Client Relations department to facilitate employee and client assignments and ensures that employee records maintain accuracy and adhere to compliance requirements.
This position acts as a primary administrative contact for DSPs.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:
Review incoming applications for Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and determine hiring selections.
Handle all facets of the onboarding procedure for new DSPs, ensuring compliance with necessary requirements.
Conduct background checks on new DSPs and renewal background checks on current DSPs when needed.
Provide new DSPs with a verbal presentation of their new employee orientation.
Review DSP availability to assess potential client assignments.
Conduct ongoing DSP account reviews to ensure that employee information is accurate.
Communicate via phone, virtual meetings, email and/or text message with employees, clients, and external contacts, exuding excellent service skills, knowledge, and professionalism.
Utilize data entry systems to respond to and document phone calls, emails, and text messages with strong attention to detail.
Update demographics information and maintain employee records, adhering to compliance requirements.
Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive and private information.
Adhere to all policies and procedures set forth by Rever Grand.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong customer service skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other computer programs.
Ability to learn and adapt to various software systems.
Excellent time management, prioritization, and organization skills.
Strong work ethic with attention to detail.
Creative thinking skills and ability to collaborate with other team members.
Ability to assess and analyze data.
Ability to adhere to strict confidentiality standards.
Education and
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Three or more years of experience in customer service and/or data entry and analysis, or other related areas.
Knowledge of Community Living Supports Agency operations a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Limited periods of standing, walking, reaching, stretching may be required.
Frequent communication verbally and electronically.
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
Other Requirements:
Must pass and maintain background clearance as defined by Oregon State Background Regulations.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
