For Sale: 1971 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am SE in Grants Pass, Oregon for sale in Grants Pass, OR
Vehicle Description '71 Firebird Trans AM, big block, 4-speed, shaker hood.
Rebuilt transmission and brakes.
New E-brake cables; white with proper blue stripes.
Original Rally II wheels.
No chips in paint.
A real beauty.
My husband and I met in high school (we have been married 55 years, dated for 4 years).
He has purchased and sold cars over the years.
Our first new car was a 1971 Firebird.
He started with a '56 Chevy many years ago, and the list started.
If you are interested in this car, I am sure he would love to talk with you.
We purchased this car on-line from Florida.
It was shipped to Oregon and it was my job to go pick it up.
Well, easier said than done.
I am very short and could not reach the pedals! I had to ask someone to drive it home for us.
It turns out that my husband could not fit it in very easily, so it has mostly sat in a garage.
When he brought it to the DMV to register the vehicle, it stopped on a very busy road on the way back.
Seems the gas gauge wasn't working :
).
Well, two policemen and many upset drivers later, it was towed back to our garage.
It has mostly sat there since we owned it.
We now feel the need to pass it on to someone who can enjoy it and drive it.
